Bible Verses about 'Turn'
- Do not turn to the right or to the left;
Turn your foot from evil. - Repent and turn away from all your offenses, so that wrongdoing does not become a stumbling block to you.

“The one who desires life, to love and see good days,
Must keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit.
He must turn away from evil and do good;
He must seek peace and pursue it.” - Do not be wise in your own eyes;
Fear the Lord and turn away from evil.
It will be healing to your body
And refreshment to your bones. - Let’s examine and search out our ways,
And let’s return to the Lord. - Incline my heart to Your testimonies,
And not to dishonest gain. - Do your duty to the Lord your God, to walk in His ways, to keep His statutes, His commandments, His ordinances, and His testimonies, according to what is written in the Law of Moses, so that you may succeed in all that you do and wherever you turn.
- “Yet even now,” declares the Lord,
“Return to Me with all your heart,
And with fasting, weeping, and mourning.” - Lord God of armies, restore us;
Make Your face shine upon us, and we will be saved. - Now I urge you, brothers and sisters, keep your eye on those who cause dissensions and hindrances contrary to the teaching which you learned, and turn away from them.
- For you were called to freedom, brothers and sisters; only do not turn your freedom into an opportunity for the flesh, but serve one another through love.
- “Return to Me,” declares the Lord of armies, “that I may return to you,” says the Lord of armies.

Now return to the Lord your God,
For He is gracious and compassionate,
Slow to anger, abounding in mercy
And relenting of catastrophe. - “Do not be like your fathers, to whom the former prophets proclaimed, saying, ‘This is what the Lord of armies says: “Return now from your evil ways and from your evil deeds.” ’ But they did not listen or pay attention to Me,” declares the Lord.
- My son, pay attention to my words;
Incline your ear to my sayings.
They are not to escape from your sight;
Keep them in the midst of your heart. - But if the wicked person turns from all his sins which he has committed and keeps all My statutes and practices justice and righteousness, he shall certainly live; he shall not die.
- For You light my lamp;
The Lord my God illumines my darkness. - Let the wicked abandon his way,
And the unrighteous person his thoughts;
And let him return to the Lord,
And He will have compassion on him,
And to our God,
For He will abundantly pardon. - Rid yourself of a deceitful mouth
And keep devious speech far from you. - Commit your works to the Lord,
And your plans will be established. - Train up a child in the way he should go,
Even when he grows older he will not abandon it. - If, because of the Sabbath, you restrain your foot
From doing as you wish on My holy day,
And call the Sabbath a pleasure, and the holy day of the Lord honorable,
And honor it, desisting from your own ways,
From seeking your own pleasure
And speaking your own word,
Then you will take delight in the Lord,
And I will make you ride on the heights of the earth;
And I will feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father,
For the mouth of the Lord has spoken. - Even to your old age I will be the same,
And even to your graying years I will carry you!
I have done it, and I will bear you;
And I will carry you and I will save you. - We know love by this, that He laid down His life for us; and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers and sisters.
- He will again take pity on us;
He will trample on our wrongdoings.
Yes, You will cast all their sins
Into the depths of the sea. - Now flee from youthful lusts and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart.
- Take words with you and return to the Lord.
Say to Him, “Take away all guilt
And receive us graciously,
So that we may present the fruit of our lips.” - The Lord bless you, and keep you;
The Lord cause His face to shine on you,
And be gracious to you;
The Lord lift up His face to you,
And give you peace. - Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.
- No, I tell you, but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.
- Those whom I love, I rebuke and discipline; therefore be zealous and repent.
- If your brother sins, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. And if he sins against you seven times a day, and returns to you seven times, saying, ‘I repent,’ you shall forgive him.

- One who conceals his wrongdoings will not prosper,
But one who confesses and abandons them will find compassion. - For I handed down to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures.
- “If you do not listen, and if you do not take it to heart to give honor to My name,” says the Lord of armies, “then I will send the curse upon you and I will curse your blessings; and indeed, I have cursed them already, because you are not taking it to heart.”
- Now I make known to you, brothers and sisters, the gospel which I preached to you, which you also received, in which you also stand, by which you also are saved, if you hold firmly to the word which I preached to you, unless you believed in vain.
- So having overlooked the times of ignorance, God is now proclaiming to mankind that all people everywhere are to repent.
