- Turn not to the right hand nor to the left:
remove thy foot from evil. - Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin.

and not your garments,
and turn unto the Lord your God:
for he is gracious and merciful,
slow to anger, and of great kindness,
and repenteth him of the evil. - But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die.

from doing thy pleasure on my holy day;
and call the sabbath a delight,
the holy of the Lord, honourable;

nor finding thine own pleasure,
nor speaking thine own words:
Then shalt thou delight thyself in the Lord;
and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth,
and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father:
for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it. - For thou wilt light my candle:
the Lord my God will enlighten my darkness. - Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.
- Let the wicked forsake his way,
and the unrighteous man his thoughts:
and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him;
and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. - Put away from thee a froward mouth,
and perverse lips put far from thee. - Commit thy works unto the Lord,
and thy thoughts shall be established. - Train up a child in the way he should go:
and when he is old, he will not depart from it. - And even to your old age I am he;
and even to hoar hairs will I carry you:
I have made, and I will bear;
even I will carry, and will deliver you. - Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
- Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
- The Lord bless thee, and keep thee:
The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:
The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace. - Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
- For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.
- I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
- As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
- From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

- If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the Lord of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart.
- Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
- And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent.
And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.
