We (3/4)

We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles, knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified. We ourselves are Jews by birth and not Gentile sinners, yet we know that a man is justified not by the works of the Law but through faith in Jesus Christ. So we too came to believe in Christ Jesus so that we might be justified by faith in him and not by the works of the Law, for no one will be justified by the works of the Law.
For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. But our citizenship is in heaven, and from there we await our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.
Save now, I pray, O Lord; O Lord, I pray, send now prosperity. Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! We have blessed you from the house of the Lord.O Lord, grant us salvation. O Lord, grant us success. Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. We bless you from the house of the Lord.
Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; But we will remember the name of the Lord our God.Some trust in chariots, and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord, our God.
Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence so that we may receive mercy and find grace when we are in need of help.
Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. Therefore, we do not lose heart. Even though our outer self is continuing to decay, our inner self is being renewed day by day.
For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus. For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so too do we believe that God will bring forth with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.
And we are His witnesses to these things, and so also is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey Him.And we are witnesses to these things, as is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey him.
No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us.No one has ever seen God, but if we love one another, God abides in us, and his love is made complete in us.
Then it will be righteousness for us, if we are careful to observe all these commandments before the Lord our God, as He has commanded us.If we are diligent in observing all of these commandments before the Lord, our God, as he commanded of us, then this will be our righteousness.
This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. This is the message that we have heard from him and that we declare to you: God is light, and there is no darkness at all in him.
He is despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.He was despised and shunned by others, a man of sorrows who was no stranger to suffering. We loathed him and regarded him as of no account, as one from whom men avert their gaze.
Yes, in the way of Your judgments, O Lord, we have waited for You; The desire of our soul is for Your name And for the remembrance of You.As we proceed in the path of your judgments, we wait for you, O Lord; your name and your renown are all that our heart desires.
Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith. Therefore, while we have the opportunity, let us labor for the good of all, but especially for those members of the household of the faith.
And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also. This is the commandment we have received from him: whoever loves God must also love his brother.
In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. This is what love is: not that we have loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as expiation for our sins.
For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.He made him who did not know sin to be sin for our sake, so that through him we might become the righteousness of God.
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. However, if we confess our sins, he who is faithful and just will forgive our sins and cleanse us from all wrongdoing.
Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures.By his own choice he gave us birth through the way of truth so that we may be a kind of firstfruits of all his creation.
Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.See what love the Father has bestowed on us, enabling us to be called the children of God, and that is what we are. If the world does not recognize us, that is because it did not know him.
And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope. And not only that, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we realize that suffering develops perseverance, and perseverance produces character, and character produces hope.
Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. There is no salvation in anyone else, nor is there any other name under heaven given to men by which we can be saved.
Can anyone forbid water, that these should not be baptized who have received the Holy Spirit just as we have? Can anyone withhold the water of baptism from these people who have received the Holy Spirit just as we have?
And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.We have come to know and to believe in the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God in him.
Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted.Although it was our afflictions that he bore, our sufferings that he endured, we thought of him as stricken, as struck down by God and afflicted.
