- Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord,
But those who deal truthfully are His delight. - But fornication and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be named among you, as is fitting for saints.

And My thoughts than your thoughts. - Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal.

I have kept His way and not turned aside. - Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
- Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself.
- So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.
- So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
- For a thousand years in Your sight
Are like yesterday when it is past,
And like a watch in the night. - Blessed are the undefiled in the way,
Who walk in the law of the Lord! - For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish.
- You shall not make anything to be with Me—gods of silver or gods of gold you shall not make for yourselves.
- Blessed are those who mourn,
For they shall be comforted. - There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
- For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
- For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?
- Consider the ravens, for they neither sow nor reap, which have neither storehouse nor barn; and God feeds them. Of how much more value are you than the birds?
- Children’s children are the crown of old men,
And the glory of children is their father. - Therefore let us not judge one another anymore, but rather resolve this, not to put a stumbling block or a cause to fall in our brother’s way.
- Therefore He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He do it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
