where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth. - But at the beginning of creation God ‘made them male and female.’ ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.’ So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.
- No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.
- John answered, “Anyone who has two shirts should share with the one who has none, and anyone who has food should do the same.”
