- Who among you is wise and understanding? Let him show by his good behavior his deeds in the gentleness of wisdom.
- One who is slow to anger has great understanding;
But one who is quick-tempered exalts foolishness. - He will not allow your foot to slip;
He who watches over you will not slumber. - One who conceals his wrongdoings will not prosper,
But one who confesses and abandons them will find compassion. - Blessed is a man who perseveres under trial; for once he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.
- How great is Your goodness,
Which You have stored up for those who fear You,
Which You have performed for those who take refuge in You,
Before the sons of mankind! - Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation.
- One who goes about as a slanderer reveals secrets,
But one who is trustworthy conceals a matter. - Those who love Your Law have great peace,
And nothing causes them to stumble. - One who walks in integrity walks securely,
But one who perverts his ways will be found out. - For those who are in accord with the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who are in accord with the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.
- Who is a God like You, who pardons wrongdoing
And passes over a rebellious act of the remnant of His possession?
He does not retain His anger forever,
Because He delights in mercy. - But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us.
- For “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
- And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for the one who comes to God must believe that He exists, and that He proves to be One who rewards those who seek Him.
- Everyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness; and sin is lawlessness.
- One who loves discipline loves knowledge,
But one who hates rebuke is stupid. - But He said, “On the contrary, blessed are those who hear the word of God and follow it.”
- Every word of God is pure;
He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him. - Taste and see that the Lord is good;
How blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him! - Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.
- Truly, truly I say to you, a slave is not greater than his master, nor is one who is sent greater than the one who sent him.
- Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will tribulation, or trouble, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword?
- For all who have sinned without the Law will also perish without the Law, and all who have sinned under the Law will be judged by the Law.
- The Lord opens the eyes of those who are blind;
The Lord raises up those who are bowed down;
The Lord loves the righteous.
