And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you.If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, then the one who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit that dwells in you.
Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell.Have no fear of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, fear the one who can destroy both soul and body in Gehenna.
Better a patient person than a warrior, one with self-control than one who takes a city.It is better to be a patient man rather than a warrior, one who controls his temper rather than one who captures a city.
Then he said to them, “Whoever welcomes this little child in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me welcomes the one who sent me. For it is the one who is least among you all who is the greatest.”And said to them, “Whoever receives this child in my name receives me; and whoever receives me receives the one who sent me. On hearing this, Jesus said, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick.”When Jesus heard this, he said, “It is not the healthy who need a physician, but rather those who are sick.”
Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness.And a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who are peacemakers.
Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.Anyone who has received my commandments and observes them is the one who loves me. And whoever loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and reveal myself to him.
The one whose walk is blameless, who does what is righteous, who speaks the truth from their heart; whose tongue utters no slander, who does no wrong to a neighbor, and casts no slur on others.The one who leads a blameless life and does what is right, who speaks the truth from the heart and does not slander anyone, who does not harm a friend and does not scorn a neighbor.
Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes.Wait quietly for the Lord and be patient until he comes. Do not fret over the man who prospers because of his evil schemes.
God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.He made him who did not know sin to be sin for our sake, so that through him we might become the righteousness of God.
But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this? Everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your hand.But who am I, and what are your people, that we should be able to do this? All things belong to you, and everything that we have given you is from your hand.
Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness.Everyone who sins breaks the law, for sin is lawlessness.
One who has unreliable friends soon comes to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.Some friends can lead us to ruin, but a true friend is closer than a brother.
And by faith even Sarah, who was past childbearing age, was enabled to bear children because she considered him faithful who had made the promise.By faith Abraham also received the power of procreation, even though he was well past the age—and Sarah herself was barren—because he believed that the one who had made the promise would be faithful in fulfilling it.
Jesus answered, “My teaching is not my own. It comes from the one who sent me.”Jesus answered them, “My teaching is not my own; rather, it comes from him who sent me.”
How abundant are the good things that you have stored up for those who fear you, that you bestow in the sight of all, on those who take refuge in you.How great is your goodness, O Lord, which you have stored up for those who fear you and which you bestow on those who take refuge in you, in the presence of all the people.
Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment.Instruct those who are rich in this world’s goods that they should not be proud, nor should they trust in the uncertainty of riches but rather in God who richly provides us with everything we need for our enjoyment.
I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.In the same way, I tell you, there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous people who have no need of repentance.
He will not let your foot slip— he who watches over you will not slumber.He will not permit your foot to stumble; he who guards you will not fall asleep.
Whoever gives heed to instruction prospers, and blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord.The one who pays heed to instruction prospers, and blessed is he who trusts in the Lord.
Who is a God like you, who pardons sin and forgives the transgression of the remnant of his inheritance? You do not stay angry forever but delight to show mercy.What god can compare with you, the God who takes away guilt and forgives the transgressions of the remnant of your people? You will not allow your anger to fester forever, for your delight is in bestowing mercy.
God “will repay each person according to what they have done.”For God will repay everyone in accordance with what his deeds deserve.

I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.And now it is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me. The life I live now in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God who loved me and gave himself up for me.
