- Whoever has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me. And he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him.

What can man do to me? - But the one who did not know, and did what deserved a beating, will receive a light beating. Everyone to whom much was given, of him much will be required, and from him to whom they entrusted much, they will demand the more.
- Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
- “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul,
“therefore I will hope in him.” - In peace I will both lie down and sleep;
for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety. - Indeed, all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.
- No, I tell you; but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.
- Wealth gained hastily will dwindle,
but whoever gathers little by little will increase it. - And I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes and be careful to obey my rules.
- For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God you may receive what is promised.
- I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever. And the bread that I will give for the life of the world is my flesh.
- And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.
