- I will praise the Lord at all times.
I will constantly speak his praises. - In peace I will lie down and sleep,

Evil-minded people will never travel on it.
It will be only for those who walk in God’s ways;

those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed. - All right then, the Lord himself will give you the sign. Look! The virgin will conceive a child! She will give birth to a son and will call him Immanuel (which means ‘God is with us’).
- Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that he has promised.

and he will never abandon the godly.

but the children of the wicked will die. - I will thank you, Lord, among all the people.
I will sing your praises among the nations. - Those who listen to instruction will prosper;
those who trust the Lord will be joyful. - Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.
- I will strengthen Judah and save Israel;
I will restore them because of my compassion.
It will be as though I had never rejected them,
for I am the Lord their God, who will hear their cries. - Such people will not be overcome by evil.
Those who are righteous will be long remembered.
