Chinese (traditional)- Even to your old age and gray hairs
I am he, I am he who will sustain you.
I have made you and I will carry you;
I will sustain you and I will rescue you. - I will extol the Lord at all times;
his praise will always be on my lips. - He will not let your foot slip—
he who watches over you will not slumber. - Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.
- Surely the righteous will never be shaken;
they will be remembered forever. - But many who are first will be last, and many who are last will be first.
- But those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint. - For I will forgive their wickedness
and will remember their sins no more. - I will exalt you, my God the King;
I will praise your name for ever and ever. - A generous person will prosper;
whoever refreshes others will be refreshed. - Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.
- Many will be purified, made spotless and refined, but the wicked will continue to be wicked. None of the wicked will understand, but those who are wise will understand.
- I will praise you, Lord, among the nations;
I will sing of you among the peoples. - For no word from God will ever fail.
- Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.
- He will cover you with his feathers,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. - I will be glad and rejoice in you;
I will sing the praises of your name, O Most High. - The Lord will rescue his servants;
no one who takes refuge in him will be condemned. - I will sing to the Lord all my life;
I will sing praise to my God as long as I live. - Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.”
- But I, with shouts of grateful praise,
will sacrifice to you.
What I have vowed I will make good.
I will say, ‘Salvation comes from the Lord.’ - I will make them and the places surrounding my hill a blessing. I will send down showers in season; there will be showers of blessing.
- ‘Never again will they hunger;
never again will they thirst.
The sun will not beat down on them,’
nor any scorching heat.
For the Lamb at the center of the throne
will be their shepherd;
‘he will lead them to springs of living water.’
‘And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.’ - I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart;
I will tell of all your wonderful deeds. - Do not judge, or you too will be judged.
The Lord will keep you from all harm—
he will watch over your life;
the Lord will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore.Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.
