- The soothing tongue is a tree of life,
but a perverse tongue crushes the spirit. - In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.
- If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!
- There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called.
