- Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.

- Do not present your members to sin as instruments for unrighteousness, but present yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life, and your members to God as instruments for righteousness.
- He will cover you with his pinions,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness is a shield and buckler. - Your word is a lamp to my feet
and a light to my path. - Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
- This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.
- And when he had said these things, as they were looking on, he was lifted up, and a cloud took him out of their sight.
- For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive.
- What is desired in a man is steadfast love,
and a poor man is better than a liar. - And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
- And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here I am! Send me.”
- But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind.
- I love the Lord, because he has heard
my voice and my pleas for mercy.
Because he inclined his ear to me,
therefore I will call on him as long as I live. - As he came from his mother's womb he shall go again, naked as he came, and shall take nothing for his toil that he may carry away in his hand.
- And they stripped him and put a scarlet robe on him, and twisting together a crown of thorns, they put it on his head and put a reed in his right hand. And kneeling before him, they mocked him, saying, “Hail, King of the Jews!”
- May my teaching drop as the rain,
my speech distill as the dew,
like gentle rain upon the tender grass,
and like showers upon the herb.
