- Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.
- Nevertheless, I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you.
- A soft answer turns away wrath,
but a harsh word stirs up anger. - Put away from you crooked speech,
and put devious talk far from you. - Get wisdom; get insight;
do not forget, and do not turn away from the words of my mouth. - And now why do you wait? Rise and be baptized and wash away your sins, calling on his name.
- And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever.
- For when I kept silent, my bones wasted away
through my groaning all day long. - Give to everyone who begs from you, and from one who takes away your goods do not demand them back.
- Turn away from evil and do good;
seek peace and pursue it. - He said, “Then put away the foreign gods that are among you, and incline your heart to the Lord, the God of Israel.”
- You shall serve the Lord your God, and he will bless your bread and your water, and I will take sickness away from among you.
- You are severed from Christ, you who would be justified by the law; you have fallen away from grace.
- Do not swerve to the right or to the left;
turn your foot away from evil. - Remove vexation from your heart, and put away pain from your body, for youth and the dawn of life are vanity.
- Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.
- Take care, brothers, lest there be in any of you an evil, unbelieving heart, leading you to fall away from the living God.
- Let the lowly brother boast in his exaltation, and the rich in his humiliation, because like a flower of the grass he will pass away.
- So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day.
- For the Lord your God is gracious and merciful and will not turn away his face from you, if you return to him.
- As he came from his mother's womb he shall go again, naked as he came, and shall take nothing for his toil that he may carry away in his hand.
- Do not forsake your friend and your father's friend,
and do not go to your brother's house in the day of your calamity.
Better is a neighbor who is near
than a brother who is far away. - For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished.
- If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing.
- Be not wise in your own eyes;
fear the Lord, and turn away from evil.
It will be healing to your flesh
and refreshment to your bones.
If your right eye causes you to sin, tear it out and throw it away. For it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body be thrown into hell.Because your steadfast love is better than life,
my lips will praise you.
So I will bless you as long as I live;
in your name I will lift up my hands. And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.Next verse!With image Because your steadfast love is better than life, my lips will praise you.
