Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children.Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children.
Therefore whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light; and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops.What you have said in the dark will be heard in the daylight, and what you have whispered in the ear in the inner rooms will be proclaimed from the roofs.
Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.Do not be misled: “Bad company corrupts good character.”
Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.
But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled.But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. “Do not fear their threats; do not be frightened.”
And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”
And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.The angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God.”
For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive.
Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.
Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.To our God and Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
Labour not to be rich: cease from thine own wisdom.Do not wear yourself out to get rich; do not trust your own cleverness.
When a man hath taken a new wife, he shall not go out to war, neither shall he be charged with any business: but he shall be free at home one year, and shall cheer up his wife which he hath taken.If a man has recently married, he must not be sent to war or have any other duty laid on him. Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near.
This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.The Lord has done it this very day; let us rejoice today and be glad.
Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil. It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil. This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones.

He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved.Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken.
