  • For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
  • But I will sing of thy power;
    yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning:
    for thou hast been my defence
    and refuge in the day of my trouble.
  • And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work.

    a strong hold in the day of trouble;
    and he knoweth them that trust in him.
  • Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

  • But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
  • I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
  • As he came forth of his mother's womb, naked shall he return to go as he came, and shall take nothing of his labour, which he may carry away in his hand.
  • Remember, O Lord, thy tender mercies and thy lovingkindnesses;
    for they have been ever of old.
    Remember not the sins of my youth,
    nor my transgressions:
    according to thy mercy remember thou me
    for thy goodness' sake, O Lord.
  • Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
  • He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
  • That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love.
  • And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
