- For His anger is but for a moment,
His favor is for a lifetime;
Weeping may last for the night,
But a shout of joy comes in the morning. - But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.
- I tell you that in the same way, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous people who have no need of repentance.
- Looking only at Jesus, the originator and perfecter of the faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
- The vine has dried up
And the fig tree has withered;
The pomegranate, the palm also, and the apple tree,
All the trees of the field have dried up.
Indeed, joy has dried up
From the sons of mankind. - Then he said to them, “Go, eat the festival foods, drink the sweet drinks, and send portions to him who has nothing prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. Do not be grieved, for the joy of the Lord is your refuge.”

But the expectation of the wicked perishes. - But I do not consider my life of any account as dear to myself, so that I may finish my course and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify solemnly of the gospel of God’s grace.
- Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep.
- The Lord is my strength and my shield;
My heart trusts in Him, and I am helped;
Therefore my heart triumphs,
And with my song I shall thank Him. - From my distress I called upon the Lord;
The Lord answered me and put me in an open space. - And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.
- With all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love.
- The father of the righteous will greatly rejoice,
And he who fathers a wise son will be glad in him. - A wise son makes a father glad,
But a foolish son is a grief to his mother. - The one who overcomes, I will grant to him to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat with My Father on His throne.
- And He said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’
- The statement is trustworthy:
For if we died with Him, we will also live with Him. - I will rejoice and be jubilant in You;
I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High. - And he answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself.”
- With all my heart I have sought You;
Do not let me wander from Your commandments. - Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given Me, be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory which You have given Me, for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.
- My mouth is filled with Your praise
And with Your glory all day long. - For You bless the righteous person, Lord,
You surround him with favor as with a shield.
