- You will keep whoever’s mind is steadfast in perfect peace,
because he trusts in you. - “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”
- Who saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus before times eternal.
- God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way. God relented of the disaster which he said he would do to them, and he didn’t do it.
- Those who know your name will put their trust in you,
for you, Yahweh, have not forsaken those who seek you. - Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity and purify for himself a people for his own possession, zealous for good works.
- I will be glad and rejoice in you.
I will sing praise to your name, O Most High. - Go your way—eat your bread with joy, and drink your wine with a merry heart; for God has already accepted your works.
- But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.
- Know therefore today, and take it to heart, that Yahweh himself is God in heaven above and on the earth beneath. There is no one else.
- There remains therefore a Sabbath rest for the people of God. For he who has entered into his rest has himself also rested from his works, as God did from his.
- But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
- Only one is the lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy. But who are you to judge another?
- Yahweh God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make him a helper comparable to him.”
- For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are dying, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
- You are all beautiful, my love.
There is no spot in you. - But all things are of God, who reconciled us to himself through Jesus Christ, and gave to us the ministry of reconciliation.
- I have spoken these things to you, that my joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be made full.
- And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body, and be thankful.
- It is a snare to a man to make a rash dedication,
then later to consider his vows. - My times are in your hand.
Deliver me from the hand of my enemies, and from those who persecute me. - It is an honor for a man to keep aloof from strife,
but every fool will be quarreling. - If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men.
- If you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same.
- Deceit is in the heart of those who plot evil,
but joy comes to the promoters of peace.
