or who is a rock save our God? - He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
- Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.
- For the word of the Lord is right;
and all his works are done in truth. - For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
- And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.
- There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.

- It is a snare to the man who devoureth that which is holy,
and after vows to make enquiry. - Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

- Commit thy works unto the Lord,
and thy thoughts shall be established. - Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.
- There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?
- Withhold not good from them to whom it is due,
when it is in the power of thine hand to do it. - But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.
- It is better to trust in the Lord
than to put confidence in man. - Behold, how good and how pleasant it is
for brethren to dwell together in unity! - If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
- The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me:
thy mercy, O Lord, endureth for ever:
forsake not the works of thine own hands. - For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake.
- And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
- And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
- Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost.
- Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.Next verse!With image
