- And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
- O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good;
for his mercy endureth for ever. - Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
- But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.
- For his anger endureth but a moment;
in his favour is life:
weeping may endure for a night,
but joy cometh in the morning. - For with God nothing shall be impossible.
- My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God:
when shall I come and appear before God? - For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
- Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine; According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.
- For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.
- Preserve me, O God:
for in thee do I put my trust. - For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.
- For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.
- For we walk by faith, not by sight.
- For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.
- For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
- For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God's ministers, attending continually upon this very thing.
- Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
- Help us, O God of our salvation,
for the glory of thy name:
and deliver us, and purge away our sins,
for thy name's sake. - My soul, wait thou only upon God;
for my expectation is from him. - For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
- Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake:
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. - Open thy mouth for the dumb in the cause of all
such as are appointed to destruction. - For thou art my rock and my fortress;
therefore for thy name's sake lead me, and guide me. - Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness:
for they shall be filled.
Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.Blessed is he
whose transgression is forgiven,
whose sin is covered. All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.Next verse!With image
