- He that covereth his sins shall not prosper:
but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy. - For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive;
and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee. - And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
- Who is a God like unto thee,
that pardoneth iniquity,
and passeth by the transgression
of the remnant of his heritage?
he retaineth not his anger for ever,
because he delighteth in mercy. - If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him. And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.
- For the Lord your God is gracious and merciful, and will not turn away his face from you, if ye return unto him.
- Let the wicked forsake his way,
and the unrighteous man his thoughts:
and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him;
and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. - And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

and mine iniquity have I not hid.
