- The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,
And His ears are open to their cry. - The rich rules over the poor,
And the borrower is servant to the lender. - To do righteousness and justice
Is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice. - But when you do a charitable deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, that your charitable deed may be in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will Himself reward you openly.
- Sing to the Lord,
For He has done excellent things;
This is known in all the earth. - So Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.”
- The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart;
The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes. - But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.
- Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people.”
- Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, to God who alone is wise, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.

From whence comes my help?
My help comes from the Lord,
Who made heaven and earth. - You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.

- The Lord will command His lovingkindness in the daytime,
And in the night His song shall be with me—
A prayer to the God of my life. - But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them.
- “Now therefore,” he said, “put away the foreign gods which are among you, and incline your heart to the Lord God of Israel.”
- For we have become partakers of Christ if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end.
- Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord,
But those who deal truthfully are His delight. - And heal the sick there, and say to them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.’
- For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,
And His ears are open to their prayers;
But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil. - For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh.
- The way of the Lord is strength for the upright,
But destruction will come to the workers of iniquity.
