- As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
- For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
- And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
- How much then is a man better than a sheep? Wherefore it is lawful to do well on the sabbath days.
- Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.
- But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.
- See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.
- Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
- Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
- Good and upright is the Lord:
therefore will he teach sinners in the way.
The meek will he guide in judgment:
and the meek will he teach his way. - But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.
- I know that there is no good in them, but for a man to rejoice, and to do good in his life. And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labour, it is the gift of God.
- He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good;
and what doth the Lord require of thee,
but to do justly, and to love mercy,
and to walk humbly with thy God? - Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.
- He that getteth wisdom loveth his own soul:
he that keepeth understanding shall find good. - If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?
- But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
- And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work.
- The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom:
a good understanding have all they that do his commandments:
his praise endureth for ever. - Behold that which I have seen: it is good and comely for one to eat and to drink, and to enjoy the good of all his labour that he taketh under the sun all the days of his life, which God giveth him: for it is his portion.
- Learn to do well; seek judgment,
relieve the oppressed,
judge the fatherless,
plead for the widow. - Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
- And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
- His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
- For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth. He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High
shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress:
my God; in him will I trust.Next verse! With image
