- Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good!

Let him refrain his tongue from evil,
And his lips from speaking deceit.
Let him turn away from evil and do good;
Let him seek peace and pursue it.” - Two are better than one,
Because they have a good reward for their labor. - So Jesus answered and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My sake and the gospel’s, who shall not receive a hundredfold now in this time—houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions—and in the age to come, eternal life.”
- For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive,
And abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You. - For He satisfies the longing soul,
And fills the hungry soul with goodness. - Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due,
When it is in the power of your hand to do so. - Let no one seek his own, but each one the other’s well-being.
- And the Lord God said, “It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him.”
- Of how much more value then is a man than a sheep? Therefore it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.
- Seek good and not evil,
That you may live;
So the Lord God of hosts will be with you,
As you have spoken. - A good name is to be chosen rather than great riches,
Loving favor rather than silver and gold. - Teach me to do Your will,
For You are my God;
Your Spirit is good.
Lead me in the land of uprightness. - Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom.
