- How beautiful upon the mountains
are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings,
that publisheth peace;
that bringeth good tidings of good,
that publisheth salvation;
that saith unto Zion,
Thy God reigneth! - And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
- I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.
- And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same.
- The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.
- The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me;
because the Lord hath anointed me
to preach good tidings unto the meek;
he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim liberty to the captives,
and the opening of the prison to them that are bound. - Depart from evil, and do good;
seek peace, and pursue it. - Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.
- The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised.
- The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.
- And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
- A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.
- Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.
- And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.
- And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
- Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.
- And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good?
- Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification.
- O taste and see that the Lord is good:
blessed is the man that trusteth in him. - Trust in the Lord, and do good;
so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. - Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.
- O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good;
for his mercy endureth for ever. - Then shalt thou understand righteousness, and judgment,
and equity; yea, every good path. - A merry heart doeth good like a medicine:
but a broken spirit drieth the bones. - Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
- Behold, how good and how pleasant it is
for brethren to dwell together in unity! - The Lord is good,
a strong hold in the day of trouble;
and he knoweth them that trust in him. - Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing,
and obtaineth favour of the Lord. - Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. Abstain from all appearance of evil.
- For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not.
- Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour.
- The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger:
but they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing. - For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile: Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.
- But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.
- Withhold not good from them to whom it is due,
when it is in the power of thine hand to do it. - For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive;
and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee. - And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.
- Seek good, and not evil,
that ye may live:
and so the Lord, the God of hosts, shall be with you,
as ye have spoken. - A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches,
and loving favour rather than silver and gold. - Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop:
but a good word maketh it glad. - Teach me to do thy will;
for thou art my God:
thy spirit is good;
lead me into the land of uprightness. - A man hath joy by the answer of his mouth:
and a word spoken in due season, how good is it! - I know that there is no good in them, but for a man to rejoice, and to do good in his life. And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labour, it is the gift of God.
- Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.
- As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
- O my soul, thou hast said unto the Lord, Thou art my Lord:
my goodness extendeth not to thee. - And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
- For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
- Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.
- But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.
And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen. Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.Next verse!With image
