- My son, if thine heart be wise,
my heart shall rejoice, even mine. - A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
- My flesh and my heart faileth:
but God is the strength of my heart,
and my portion for ever. - For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
- Blessed are the pure in heart:
for they shall see God. - I delight to do thy will, O my God:
yea, thy law is within my heart. - A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.
- As in water face answereth to face,
so the heart of man to man. - Create in me a clean heart, O God;
and renew a right spirit within me. - Thy word have I hid in mine heart,
that I might not sin against thee. - The Lord is my strength and my shield;
my heart trusted in him, and I am helped:
therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth;
and with my song will I praise him. - Incline my heart unto thy testimonies,
and not to covetousness. - Keep thy heart with all diligence;
for out of it are the issues of life. - A merry heart doeth good like a medicine:
but a broken spirit drieth the bones. - Hope deferred maketh the heart sick:
but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life. - Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop:
but a good word maketh it glad. - I will praise thee, O Lord, with my whole heart;
I will shew forth all thy marvellous works. - Delight thyself also in the Lord:
and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. - With my whole heart have I sought thee:
O let me not wander from thy commandments. - And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.
- Blessed are they that keep his testimonies,
and that seek him with the whole heart. - Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever:
for they are the rejoicing of my heart. - I will praise thee with uprightness of heart,
when I shall have learned thy righteous judgments. - Teach me thy way, O Lord;
I will walk in thy truth:
unite my heart to fear thy name. - The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit:
a broken and a contrite heart,
O God, thou wilt not despise.
Wait on the Lord: be of good courage,
and he shall strengthen thine heart:
wait, I say, on the Lord.Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.Next verse!With image
