  • And they stripped him and put a scarlet robe on him, and twisting together a crown of thorns, they put it on his head and put a reed in his right hand. And kneeling before him, they mocked him, saying, “Hail, King of the Jews!”
  • If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.
  • And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God. He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”
  • But whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.
  • This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
  • For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
  • If your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him, and if he sins against you seven times in the day, and turns to you seven times, saying, ‘I repent,’ you must forgive him.
  • To him all the prophets bear witness that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name.
  • That I may know him and the power of his resurrection, and may share his sufferings, becoming like him in his death.
  • He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?
  • I can do all things through him who strengthens me.
  • God shall bless us;
    let all the ends of the earth fear him!
  • For “Whoever desires to love life
    and see good days,
    let him keep his tongue from evil
    and his lips from speaking deceit;
    let him turn away from evil and do good;
    let him seek peace and pursue it.”
  • For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up!
  • And Jesus said to him, “Go your way; your faith has made you well.” And immediately he recovered his sight and followed him on the way.
  • Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.
  • The Lord is my strength and my shield;
    in him my heart trusts, and I am helped;
    my heart exults,
    and with my song I give thanks to him.
  • Then Peter came up and said to him, “Lord, how often will my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? As many as seven times?” Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you seven times, but seventy-seven times.”
  • And now, little children, abide in him, so that when he appears we may have confidence and not shrink from him in shame at his coming.
  • But if anyone has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God's love abide in him?
  • For in him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily, and you have been filled in him, who is the head of all rule and authority.
  • Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
  • I cried to him with my mouth,
    and high praise was on my tongue.
  • If your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault, between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained your brother.
  • For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence,
    for my hope is from him.

Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, to build him up.
