and that in the end he will stand on the earth. - Blessings crown the head of the righteous,
but violence overwhelms the mouth of the wicked. - Cast your cares on the Lord
and he will sustain you;
he will never let
the righteous be shaken. - But I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken.
- Moses was there with the Lord forty days and forty nights without eating bread or drinking water. And he wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant—the Ten Commandments.
- For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous
and his ears are attentive to their prayer,
but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil. - The Lord said to Moses, “Come up to me on the mountain and stay here, and I will give you the tablets of stone with the law and commandments I have written for their instruction.”

Though she may forget,
I will not forget you!

your walls are ever before me. - Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practices and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator.
- Let love and faithfulness never leave you;
bind them around your neck,
write them on the tablet of your heart.
Then you will win favor and a good name
in the sight of God and man. - “On the day when I act,” says the Lord Almighty, “they will be my treasured possession. I will spare them, just as a father has compassion and spares his son who serves him.”

and save the tribes of Joseph.
I will restore them
because I have compassion on them.

I had not rejected them,
for I am the Lord their God
