| I said to the Lord, “You are my Master! Every good thing I have comes from you.” | O my soul, thou hast said unto the Lord, Thou art my Lord: my goodness extendeth not to thee. |
| Let me hear of your unfailing love each morning, for I am trusting you. Show me where to walk, for I give myself to you. | Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee. |

| But each day the Lord pours his unfailing love upon me, and through each night I sing his songs, praying to God who gives me life. | Yet the Lord will command his lovingkindness in the day time, and in the night his song shall be with me, and my prayer unto the God of my life. |
| But the Lord watches over those who fear him, those who rely on his unfailing love. | Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy. |
| For the Lord your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. | And I know it is important to love him with all my heart and all my understanding and all my strength, and to love my neighbor as myself. | Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. | Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil. |
| Those who love your instructions have great peace and do not stumble. | Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them. |
| There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. | Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. |
| In the same way, husbands ought to love their wives as they love their own bodies. For a man who loves his wife actually shows love for himself. | So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. |

| So the Lord must wait for you to come to him so he can show you his love and compassion. For the Lord is a faithful God. Blessed are those who wait for his help. | And therefore will the Lord wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the Lord is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him. |

| Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other. | Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another. |
| Dear children, let’s not merely say that we love each other; let us show the truth by our actions. | My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth. |
| And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. | Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the Lord forever. | Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever. |
| If I gave everything I have to the poor and even sacrificed my body, I could boast about it; but if I didn’t love others, I would have gained nothing. | And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing. |
| You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and you are right, because that’s what I am. | Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am. |
| Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to your name goes all the glory for your unfailing love and faithfulness. | Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, and for thy truth's sake. |
| But you, dear friends, must build each other up in your most holy faith, pray in the power of the Holy Spirit, and await the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will bring you eternal life. In this way, you will keep yourselves safe in God’s love. | But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. |
| Run from anything that stimulates youthful lusts. Instead, pursue righteous living, faithfulness, love, and peace. Enjoy the companionship of those who call on the Lord with pure hearts. | Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart. |
