- And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

What can mere mortals do to me? - In Hades, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far away, with Lazarus by his side. So he called to him, ‘Father Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in agony in this fire.’
- Blessed is the one
who does not walk in step with the wicked
or stand in the way that sinners take
or sit in the company of mockers. - If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
- God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.
- In you, Lord, I have taken refuge;
let me never be put to shame;
deliver me in your righteousness. - Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?
- No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.
- Better is one day in your courts
than a thousand elsewhere;
I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God
than dwell in the tents of the wicked. - I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
- So God created mankind in his own image,
in the image of God he created them;
male and female he created them. - Keep me safe, my God,
for in you I take refuge. - Our God is in heaven;
he does whatever pleases him. - We all stumble in many ways. Anyone who is never at fault in what they say is perfect, able to keep their whole body in check.
- Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ.
- In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus.
- Since you are precious and honored in my sight,
and because I love you,
I will give people in exchange for you,
nations in exchange for your life. - This, then, is how you should pray:
‘Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.’ - I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them.
- If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love.
- Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them.
- In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice;
in the morning I lay my requests before you
and wait expectantly. - I instruct you in the way of wisdom
and lead you along straight paths.
Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.”How great you are, Sovereign Lord! There is no one like you, and there is no God but you, as we have heard with our own ears. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.Next verse!With image
