- Our help is in the name of the Lord,
who made heaven and earth. - Glory to God in the highest,
and on earth peace, good will toward men. - I have taught thee in the way of wisdom;
I have led thee in right paths. - Delight thyself also in the Lord:
and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. - I had fainted, unless I had believed
to see the goodness of the Lord
in the land of the living. - Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
- But our God is in the heavens:
he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased. - I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth.
- And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
- Deceit is in the heart of them that imagine evil:
but to the counsellors of peace is joy. - I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies,
as much as in all riches. - Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
- And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.
- For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light.
- Riches profit not in the day of wrath:
but righteousness delivereth from death. - And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
- For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
- The fear of man bringeth a snare:
but whoso putteth his trust in the Lord shall be safe. - For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh.
- For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord God: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye.
- Train up a child in the way he should go:
and when he is old, he will not depart from it. - Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.
- Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart,
all ye that hope in the Lord. - Blessed are the undefiled in the way,
who walk in the law of the Lord. - My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O Lord;
in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
