- In the beginning the Word already existed.
The Word was with God,

- For God saved us and called us to live a holy life. He did this, not because we deserved it, but because that was his plan from before the beginning of time—to show us his grace through Christ Jesus.

than to trust in people. - Trust in the Lord and do good.
Then you will live safely in the land and prosper. - Be on guard. Stand firm in the faith. Be courageous. Be strong.
