- Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
- There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
- And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.
- And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.

- Hatred stirreth up strifes:
but love covereth all sins. - But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.
- For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
- Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.
- But take diligent heed to do the commandment and the law, which Moses the servant of the Lord charged you, to love the Lord your God, and to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and to cleave unto him, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.
- And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
