- Then Jesus said to those Jews who did believe in him,
“If you remain faithful to my word,
you will truly be my disciples.
You will know the truth,
and the truth will set you free.” - The one who gives this testimony says, “Yes, I am coming soon.”
Amen. Come, Lord Jesus! - For there is one God,
and there is one mediator between God and man,
Christ Jesus, himself a man. - I love you, O Lord, my strength,
O Lord, my rock, my fortress, my deliverer.
My God is my rock in whom I take refuge,
my shield and the horn of my salvation,
my stronghold. - Hence, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and death.
- “Peace be with you,” Jesus said to them again.
“As the Father has sent me,
so I send you.” - And every tongue should proclaim
to the glory of God the Father:
Jesus Christ is Lord. - While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and after he had pronounced the blessing, he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, “Take this and eat; this is my body.”
- For I resolved that, while I was with you, I would know nothing except Jesus Christ—and him crucified.
- From that day forward Jesus began to proclaim the message: “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is close at hand.”
- I press on toward the finishing line to win the heavenly prize to which God has called me in Christ Jesus.
- Jesus then said,
“I will remain with you
only for a short time longer,
and then I shall return
to him who sent me.” - And eternal life is this:
to know you,
the only true God,
and the one you have sent,
Jesus Christ. - Jesus replied,
“I am the way, and the truth, and the life.
No one comes to the Father
except through me.” - For the wages of sin is death, but the gift freely given by God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
- Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?
- Therefore, now that we have been justified by faith, we are at peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
- Jesus looked at them and said, “For men this is impossible, but for God all things are possible.”
- Jesus replied,
“Amen, amen, I say to you,
no one can see the kingdom of God
without being born from above.” - But our citizenship is in heaven, and from there we await our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.
- Rather, put on the Lord Jesus Christ and allow no opportunity for the flesh to gratify its sinful desires.
- But now in Christ Jesus, you who once were far off have been brought near through the blood of Christ.
- When Jesus had taken the wine, he said, “It is finished.” Then he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.
- She will give birth to a son, and you shall name him Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.
- My deliverance and my glory depend on God;
he is my mighty rock and my refuge.
Then the God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.If you abide in me
and my words abide in you,
you may ask for whatever you wish,
and it will be done for you. With all humility, gentleness, and patience, bearing with one another in a spirit of love.Next verse! With image
