- They answered, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, and so too will your household.”
- The one who gives this testimony says, “Yes, I am coming soon.”
Amen. Come, Lord Jesus! - For there is one God,
and there is one mediator between God and man,
Christ Jesus, himself a man. - While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and after he had pronounced the blessing, he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, “Take this and eat; this is my body.”
- I love you, O Lord, my strength,
O Lord, my rock, my fortress, my deliverer.
My God is my rock in whom I take refuge,
my shield and the horn of my salvation,
my stronghold. - And every tongue should proclaim
to the glory of God the Father:
Jesus Christ is Lord. - “Peace be with you,” Jesus said to them again.
“As the Father has sent me,
so I send you.” - Hence, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and death.
- Jesus then said,
“I will remain with you
only for a short time longer,
and then I shall return
to him who sent me.” - For I resolved that, while I was with you, I would know nothing except Jesus Christ—and him crucified.
- From that day forward Jesus began to proclaim the message: “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is close at hand.”
- Jesus replied,
“I am the way, and the truth, and the life.
No one comes to the Father
except through me.” - And eternal life is this:
to know you,
the only true God,
and the one you have sent,
Jesus Christ. - For the wages of sin is death, but the gift freely given by God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
- I press on toward the finishing line to win the heavenly prize to which God has called me in Christ Jesus.
- Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?
- Jesus looked at them and said, “For men this is impossible, but for God all things are possible.”
- Jesus replied,
“Amen, amen, I say to you,
no one can see the kingdom of God
without being born from above.” - Therefore, now that we have been justified by faith, we are at peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
- But our citizenship is in heaven, and from there we await our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.
- Rather, put on the Lord Jesus Christ and allow no opportunity for the flesh to gratify its sinful desires.
- When Jesus had taken the wine, he said, “It is finished.” Then he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.
- But now in Christ Jesus, you who once were far off have been brought near through the blood of Christ.
- She will give birth to a son, and you shall name him Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.
- My deliverance and my glory depend on God;
he is my mighty rock and my refuge.
God is faithful, and it is by him that you have been called into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.See what love
the Father has bestowed on us,
enabling us to be called the children of God,
and that is what we are.
If the world does not recognize us,
that is because it did not know him. If I give away everything to feed the poor
and hand over my body to be burned,
but do not have love,
I achieve nothing.Next verse!With image
