- When doubts filled my mind,
your comfort gave me renewed hope and cheer. - My child, listen to me and do as I say,

let my speech settle like dew.
Let my words fall like rain on tender grass,
like gentle showers on young plants. - ‘I am the Lord your God,’ I told them. ‘Follow my decrees, pay attention to my regulations, and keep my Sabbath days holy, for they are a sign to remind you that I am the Lord your God.’
- Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.
- But when I am afraid,
I will put my trust in you. - Now if you will obey me and keep my covenant, you will be my own special treasure from among all the peoples on earth; for all the earth belongs to me.
- Let all that I am praise the Lord;
with my whole heart, I will praise his holy name. - I am counting on the Lord;
yes, I am counting on him.
I have put my hope in his word. - Those who are victorious will sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat with my Father on his throne.
