- I love the Lord, because he has heard
my voice and my pleas for mercy.
Because he inclined his ear to me,
therefore I will call on him as long as I live. - Incline my heart to your testimonies,
and not to selfish gain! - I sought the Lord, and he answered me
and delivered me from all my fears. - I will extol you, my God and King,
and bless your name forever and ever. - Because your steadfast love is better than life,
my lips will praise you.
So I will bless you as long as I live;
in your name I will lift up my hands. - You then, my child, be strengthened by the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
- I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.
- O Lord, you have searched me and known me!
You know when I sit down and when I rise up;
you discern my thoughts from afar. - When I thought, “My foot slips,”
your steadfast love, O Lord, held me up. - Whoever has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me. And he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him.

- So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
- My mouth is filled with your praise,
and with your glory all the day. - I have made a covenant with my eyes;
how then could I gaze at a virgin? - So shall my word be that goes out from my mouth;
it shall not return to me empty,
but it shall accomplish that which I purpose,
and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it. - For I know that my Redeemer lives,
and at the last he will stand upon the earth. - My son, keep your father's commandment,
and forsake not your mother's teaching. - I have stored up your word in my heart,
that I might not sin against you. - Keep steady my steps according to your promise,
and let no iniquity get dominion over me. - Even before a word is on my tongue,
behold, O Lord, you know it altogether. - By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.
- Get wisdom; get insight;
do not forget, and do not turn away from the words of my mouth. - With my whole heart I seek you;
let me not wander from your commandments! - I have set the Lord always before me;
because he is at my right hand, I shall not be shaken. - I will bless the Lord at all times;
his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
