- Your laws are my treasure;
they are my heart’s delight. - You know what I long for, Lord;

you are my glory, the one who holds my head high. - You are my rock and my fortress.
For the honor of your name, lead me out of this danger. - If you love me, obey my commandments.

The Lord keeps me alive! - “My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord.

does my help come from there?
My help comes from the Lord,
who made heaven and earth! - Hear my prayer, O Lord;
listen to my plea!
Answer me because you are faithful and righteous. - I say to myself, “The Lord is my inheritance;
therefore, I will hope in him!” - O God, you are my God;
I earnestly search for you.
My soul thirsts for you;
my whole body longs for you
in this parched and weary land
where there is no water. - So Jesus told them, “My message is not my own; it comes from God who sent me.”

your comfort gave me renewed hope and cheer. - My child, listen to me and do as I say,

I thirst for you as parched land thirsts for rain. - For I cried out to him for help,

Store my commands in your heart.
If you do this, you will live many years,
and your life will be satisfying. - As for me, I look to the Lord for help.
I wait confidently for God to save me,
and my God will certainly hear me. - I said to the Lord, “You are my Master!
Every good thing I have comes from you.” - My child, pay attention to what I say.
Listen carefully to my words.
Don’t lose sight of them.
Let them penetrate deep into your heart. - My future is in your hands.
Rescue me from those who hunt me down relentlessly. - Those who live in the shelter of the Most High
will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
This I declare about the Lord:
He alone is my refuge, my place of safety;
he is my God, and I trust him. - I will sing to the Lord as long as I live.
I will praise my God to my last breath!
