- Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.”
- Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name;
make known among the nations what he has done. - But for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its rays. And you will go out and frolic like well-fed calves.
- Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
- I will show the holiness of my great name, which has been profaned among the nations, the name you have profaned among them. Then the nations will know that I am the Lord, declares the Sovereign Lord, when I am proved holy through you before their eyes.
- May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had.
- If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in them and they in God.
- Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.
- Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?”
- Who is it that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.
- Above his head they placed the written charge against him: this is jesus, the king of the jews.
- For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.
- For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
- From that time on Jesus began to preach, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.”
- Blessed are you when people hate you,
when they exclude you and insult you
and reject your name as evil,
because of the Son of Man. - And every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father. - A good name is more desirable than great riches;
to be esteemed is better than silver or gold. - “Go,” said Jesus, “your faith has healed you.” Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus along the road.
- Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death.
- Teach me your way, Lord,
that I may rely on your faithfulness;
give me an undivided heart,
that I may fear your name. - In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus.
- But the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary; you have found favor with God. You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus.”
- He builds his lofty palace in the heavens
and sets its foundation on the earth;
he calls for the waters of the sea
and pours them out over the face of the land—
the Lord is his name. - But Scripture has locked up everything under the control of sin, so that what was promised, being given through faith in Jesus Christ, might be given to those who believe.
- And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.
The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.
