- For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace.

- Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock.
- So flee youthful passions and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart.
- You keep him in perfect peace
whose mind is stayed on you,
because he trusts in you. - Salvation belongs to the Lord;
your blessing be on your people! Selah - If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all.
- I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
- Make your face shine on your servant;
save me in your steadfast love! - Now he was teaching in one of the synagogues on the Sabbath. And behold, there was a woman who had had a disabling spirit for eighteen years. She was bent over and could not fully straighten herself. When Jesus saw her, he called her over and said to her, “Woman, you are freed from your disability.” And he laid his hands on her, and immediately she was made straight, and she glorified God. But the ruler of the synagogue, indignant because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath, said to the people, “There are six days in which work ought to be done. Come on those days and be healed, and not on the Sabbath day.” Then the Lord answered him, “You hypocrites! Does not each of you on the Sabbath untie his ox or his donkey from the manger and lead it away to water it? And ought not this woman, a daughter of Abraham whom Satan bound for eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath day?” As he said these things, all his adversaries were put to shame, and all the people rejoiced at all the glorious things that were done by him.

the Lord answered me and set me free. - Blessings are on the head of the righteous,
but the mouth of the wicked conceals violence. - He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.
- On God rests my salvation and my glory;
my mighty rock, my refuge is God. - No one after lighting a lamp covers it with a jar or puts it under a bed, but puts it on a stand, so that those who enter may see the light.
- Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.
- May my teaching drop as the rain,
my speech distill as the dew,
like gentle rain upon the tender grass,
and like showers upon the herb. - Can a woman forget her nursing child,
that she should have no compassion on the son of her womb?
Even these may forget,
yet I will not forget you.
Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands;
your walls are continually before me. - On the last day of the feast, the great day, Jesus stood up and cried out, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink.”
- Therefore let us leave the elementary doctrine of Christ and go on to maturity, not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, and of instruction about washings, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment.
- I cried to him with my mouth,
and high praise was on my tongue.
