- But he was wounded for our transgressions,
he was bruised for our iniquities:
the chastisement of our peace was upon him;
and with his stripes we are healed. - If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
- Surely he hath borne our griefs,
and carried our sorrows:
yet we did esteem him stricken,
smitten of God, and afflicted. - God is our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble. - But our God is in the heavens:
he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased. - Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits,
even the God of our salvation. Selah. - Our help is in the name of the Lord,
who made heaven and earth. - Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
- For who is God save the Lord?
or who is a rock save our God? - For who is God, save the Lord?
and who is a rock, save our God? - Let us search and try our ways,
and turn again to the Lord. - Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.
- O come, let us worship and bow down:
let us kneel before the Lord our maker. - For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
- The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God.
- The grass withereth, the flower fadeth:
but the word of our God shall stand for ever. - And the Lord commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the Lord our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as it is at this day.
- For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
- Some trust in chariots, and some in horses:
but we will remember the name of the Lord our God. - And it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments before the Lord our God, as he hath commanded us.
- He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us;
he will subdue our iniquities;
and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea. - And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
- As far as the east is from the west,
so far hath he removed our transgressions from us. - But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
- For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ.
Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.He is the Rock, his work is perfect:
for all his ways are judgment:
a God of truth and without iniquity,
just and right is he. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work.Next verse!With image
