- The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints.
- Great peace have they which love thy law:
and nothing shall offend them. - Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
- Let not mercy and truth forsake thee:
bind them about thy neck;
write them upon the table of thine heart:
So shalt thou find favour and good understanding
in the sight of God and man. - Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all.
- Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.
- Glory to God in the highest,
and on earth peace, good will toward men. - For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile: Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.
- And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
- For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
- Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
- Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord.
- Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
- For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
- Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace,
whose mind is stayed on thee:
because he trusteth in thee. - And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.
- The Lord will give strength unto his people;
the Lord will bless his people with peace. - Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.
- Deceit is in the heart of them that imagine evil:
but to the counsellors of peace is joy. - Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
- The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.
- Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
- Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.
- Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.
- My son, forget not my law;
but let thine heart keep my commandments:
For length of days, and long life,
and peace, shall they add to thee.
