- For I know that through your prayers and the help of the Spirit of Jesus Christ this will turn out for my deliverance.

The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer,
my God, my rock in whom I take refuge,
my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. - For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly be united with him in a resurrection like his. We know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body of sin might be destroyed, and we might no longer be enslaved to sin.
- Who is this King of glory?
The Lord of hosts,
he is the King of glory. Selah - Husbands, in the same way, show consideration for your wives in your life together, paying honor to the woman as the weaker sex, since they too are also heirs of the gracious gift of life—so that nothing may hinder your prayers.
- Take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
- The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom,
and the knowledge of the Holy One is insight. - For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God.
- In fulfillment of his own purpose he gave us birth by the word of truth, so that we would become a kind of first fruits of his creatures.
- For the customs of the peoples are false:
a tree from the forest is cut down,
and worked with an ax by the hands of an artisan;
people deck it with silver and gold;
they fasten it with hammer and nails
so that it cannot move.
Their idols are like scarecrows in a cucumber field,
and they cannot speak;
they have to be carried,
for they cannot walk.
Do not be afraid of them,
for they cannot do evil,
nor is it in them to do good. - The tongue of the righteous is choice silver;
the mind of the wicked is of little worth. - The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with all of you.
- For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
- I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation as you come to know him.
- Guarding the paths of justice
and preserving the way of his faithful ones. - The good person out of the good treasure of the heart produces good, and the evil person out of evil treasure produces evil; for it is out of the abundance of the heart that the mouth speaks.
- Making every effort to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
- I believe that I shall see the goodness of the Lord
in the land of the living. - The memory of the righteous is a blessing,
but the name of the wicked will rot. - Peter said to them, “Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ so that your sins may be forgiven; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”
- You have been born anew, not of perishable but of imperishable seed, through the living and enduring word of God.
- Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us,
and prosper for us the work of our hands—
O prosper the work of our hands! - Grandchildren are the crown of the aged,
and the glory of children is their parents. - The hope of the righteous ends in gladness,
but the expectation of the wicked comes to nothing. - The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge;
fools despise wisdom and instruction.
