- I thank thee, and praise thee, O thou God of my fathers,
who hast given me wisdom and might,
and hast made known unto me now what we desired of thee:
for thou hast now made known unto us the king's matter. - We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth.
- And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same.
- Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving.
- Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.
- But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
- But I will sacrifice unto thee
with the voice of thanksgiving;
I will pay that that I have vowed.
Salvation is of the Lord. - Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
- I will praise thee with uprightness of heart,
when I shall have learned thy righteous judgments. - And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
- O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good;
for his mercy endureth for ever. - O give thanks unto the Lord; call upon his name:
make known his deeds among the people. - I will praise thee, O Lord, among the people:
and I will sing praises unto thee among the nations. - And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
- And in that day shall ye say,
Praise the Lord, call upon his name,
declare his doings among the people,
make mention that his name is exalted. - Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
- And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.
- The Lord is my strength and my shield;
my heart trusted in him, and I am helped:
therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth;
and with my song will I praise him. - And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
- For thou hast possessed my reins:
thou hast covered me in my mother's womb.
I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made:
marvellous are thy works;
and that my soul knoweth right well.
Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.Next verse!With image
