Chinese (traditional)- This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.
- You are altogether beautiful, my darling;
there is no flaw in you. - But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness.
- Finally, all of you, be like-minded, be sympathetic, love one another, be compassionate and humble.
- May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
- Whoever would foster love covers over an offense,
but whoever repeats the matter separates close friends. - This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters.
- And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
- And walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
- Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.
- Wives, submit yourselves to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives and do not be harsh with them.
- For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.
- Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good;
his love endures forever. - I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them.
- And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.
- Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?
- This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.
- If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person?
- Let those who love the Lord hate evil,
for he guards the lives of his faithful ones
and delivers them from the hand of the wicked. - If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.
- But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.
- If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.
- I love the Lord, for he heard my voice;
he heard my cry for mercy.
Because he turned his ear to me,
I will call on him as long as I live. - You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love.
- God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.
See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. For I am the Lord your God
who takes hold of your right hand
and says to you, Do not fear;
I will help you.Next verse!With image
