- Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is giving you.
- Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
- Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
- When they had pasture, they were filled;
They were filled and their heart was exalted;
Therefore they forgot Me. - Let Your mercy, O Lord, be upon us,
Just as we hope in You. - For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection, knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin.
- But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.
- Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
- For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
- Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.
- But who am I, and who are my people,
That we should be able to offer so willingly as this?
For all things come from You,
And of Your own we have given You. - So we fasted and entreated our God for this, and He answered our prayer.
- So teach us to number our days,
That we may gain a heart of wisdom. - Nevertheless in Your great mercy
You did not utterly consume them nor forsake them;
For You are God, gracious and merciful. - The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God.
- For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another.
- Yet for us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we for Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and through whom we live.
- For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
- Let my teaching drop as the rain,
My speech distill as the dew,
As raindrops on the tender herb,
And as showers on the grass. - For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, you are God’s building.
- For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.
- What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
- Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
- As newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby.
- Now may the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God and into the patience of Christ.
He only is my rock and my salvation;
He is my defense;
I shall not be moved. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.Next verse!With image
