- But just as it is written:
“Things which eye has not seen and ear has not heard,
And which have not entered the human heart,
All that God has prepared for those who love Him.” - Therefore I urge you, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship.
- You shall diligently keep the commandments of the Lord your God, and His provisions and His statutes which He has commanded you.
- You shall walk entirely in the way which the Lord your God has commanded you, so that you may live and that it may be well for you, and that you may prolong your days in the land which you will possess.
- I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints.
- Every person is to be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God.
- There is a way which seems right to a person,
But its end is the way of death. - Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given Me, be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory which You have given Me, for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.
- By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God; and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God; this is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming, and now it is already in the world.
- Therefore let it be known to you, brothers, that through Him forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you, and through Him everyone who believes is freed from all things, from which you could not be freed through the Law of Moses.
- But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our wrongdoings, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved).
- Honor your father and your mother, so that your days may be prolonged on the land which the Lord your God gives you.
- Stand firm therefore, having belted your waist with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having strapped on your feet the preparation of the gospel of peace; in addition to all, taking up the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.
- Blessed is a man who perseveres under trial; for once he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.
- And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged from the things which were written in the books, according to their deeds. And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them; and they were judged, each one of them according to their deeds.
- Now then, do away with the foreign gods which are in your midst, and incline your hearts to the Lord, the God of Israel.
- This is the day which the Lord has made;
Let’s rejoice and be glad in it. - And so the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be for all the people.”
- But examine everything; hold firmly to that which is good, abstain from every form of evil.
- Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because on it He rested from all His work which God had created and made.
- I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you should go;
I will advise you with My eye upon you. - For you have been born again not of seed which is perishable, but imperishable, that is, through the living and enduring word of God.
- Who saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was granted to us in Christ Jesus from all eternity.
- Wives, subject yourselves to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the church, He Himself being the Savior of the body.
- For this is the message which you have heard from the beginning, that we are to love one another.
