- I will extol thee, my God, O king;
and I will bless thy name for ever and ever. - So we fasted and besought our God for this: and he was intreated of us.
- Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens:
and thy glory above all the earth. - Wherefore thou art great, O Lord God: for there is none like thee, neither is there any God beside thee, according to all that we have heard with our ears.
- If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?
- Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?
- Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
- But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.
- The grass withereth, the flower fadeth:
but the word of our God shall stand for ever. - Every word of God is pure:
he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. - Every man also to whom God hath given riches and wealth, and hath given him power to eat thereof, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labour; this is the gift of God.
- What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
- Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits,
even the God of our salvation. Selah. - Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God.
- Unto Adam also and to his wife did the Lord God make coats of skins, and clothed them.
- Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
- And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.
- Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.
- Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.
- Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.
- But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
- And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
- Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.
- For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
- What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God. Ah Lord God! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee.Next verse!With image
