- Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise, exalt, and honor the King of heaven, for all His works are true and His ways just; and He is able to humble those who walk in pride.
- The Lord is my strength and my shield;
My heart trusts in Him, and I am helped;
Therefore my heart triumphs,
And with my song I shall thank Him. - Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen.
- Great is the Lord, and highly to be praised;
And His greatness is unsearchable. - And I heard every created thing which is in heaven, or on the earth, or under the earth, or on the sea, and all the things in them, saying,
“To Him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be the blessing, the honor, the glory, and the dominion forever and ever.” - From the same mouth come both blessing and cursing. My brothers and sisters, these things should not be this way.
- I will bless the Lord at all times;
His praise shall continually be in my mouth. - I love the Lord, because He hears
My voice and my pleas.
Because He has inclined His ear to me,
Therefore I will call upon Him as long as I live. - But I have trusted in Your faithfulness;
My heart shall rejoice in Your salvation.
I will sing to the Lord,
Because He has looked after me. - The heavens tell of the glory of God;
And their expanse declares the work of His hands.
Day to day pours forth speech,
And night to night reveals knowledge. - Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you, with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God.
- Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own? For you have been bought for a price: therefore glorify God in your body.
- Who is this King of glory?
The Lord of armies,
He is the King of glory. Selah - I will give thanks to the Lord with all my heart;
I will tell of all Your wonders. - Not to us, Lord, not to us,
But to Your name give glory,
Because of Your mercy, because of Your truth. - I will give thanks to You, Lord, among the peoples,
And I will sing praises to You among the nations. - Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears our burden,
The God who is our salvation. Selah - My lips will shout for joy when I sing praises to You;
And my soul, which You have redeemed. - I will exalt You, my God, the King,
And I will bless Your name forever and ever. - For this reason also God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth.
- Whom do I have in heaven but You?
And with You, I desire nothing on earth. - The Lord will send His goodness in the daytime;
And His song will be with me in the night,
A prayer to the God of my life. - Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all things for the glory of God.
- Be exalted above the heavens, God,
And may Your glory be above all the earth. - And on that day you will say,
“Give thanks to the Lord, call on His name.
Make known His deeds among the peoples;
Make them remember that His name is exalted.”
