Chinese (traditional)Then He said to them all, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.” For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures. But, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ. For who is God, except the Lord?
And who is a rock, except our God? As for God, His way is perfect;
The word of the Lord is proven;
He is a shield to all who trust in Him. Give to everyone who asks of you. And from him who takes away your goods do not ask them back. But I say to you who hear: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who spitefully use you. “For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. Whom have I in heaven but You?
And there is none upon earth that I desire besides You. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. Who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high. Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them. For it is written:
“As I live, says the Lord,
Every knee shall bow to Me,
And every tongue shall confess to God.” Knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot. For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost. Who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began. For I know that my Redeemer lives,
And He shall stand at last on the earth. Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law. I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace. Render therefore to all their due: taxes to whom taxes are due, customs to whom customs, fear to whom fear, honor to whom honor. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. By which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive,
And abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You. And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.Next verse!With image
