Chinese (traditional)Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures. For whoever finds me finds life,
And obtains favor from the Lord. If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love. Do not say,
“Why were the former days better than these?”
For you do not inquire wisely concerning this. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows. And He said, “What comes out of a man, that defiles a man. For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lewdness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness. All these evil things come from within and defile a man.” But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. For if there is first a willing mind, it is accepted according to what one has, and not according to what he does not have. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.” The words of a wise man’s mouth are gracious,
But the lips of a fool shall swallow him up. He who gets wisdom loves his own soul;
He who keeps understanding will find good. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. For in Him we live and move and have our being, as also some of your own poets have said, ‘For we are also His offspring.’ And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us,
And establish the work of our hands for us;
Yes, establish the work of our hands. Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure. For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. As for the Almighty, we cannot find Him;
He is excellent in power,
In judgment and abundant justice;
He does not oppress. Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment. Lord, all my desire is before You;
And my sighing is not hidden from You. Can a woman forget her nursing child,
And not have compassion on the son of her womb?
Surely they may forget,
Yet I will not forget you.
See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands;
Your walls are continually before Me. Therefore, since Christ suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind, for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.Next verse!With image
