Chinese (traditional)Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. The Lord redeems the soul of His servants,
And none of those who trust in Him shall be condemned. And may the Lord make you increase and abound in love to one another and to all, just as we do to you. See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Let no one seek his own, but each one the other’s well-being. But I say to you who hear: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who spitefully use you. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. You are my hiding place;
You shall preserve me from trouble;
You shall surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. He who covers a transgression seeks love,
But he who repeats a matter separates friends. Who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began. Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord,
And whose hope is the Lord.
For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters,
Which spreads out its roots by the river,
And will not fear when heat comes;
But its leaf will be green,
And will not be anxious in the year of drought,
Nor will cease from yielding fruit. Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. For He satisfies the longing soul,
And fills the hungry soul with goodness. He who walks with integrity walks securely,
But he who perverts his ways will become known. For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace. For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
All the days of my life;
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord
Forever. Direct my steps by Your word,
And let no iniquity have dominion over me. For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content. The wise in heart will receive commands,
But a prating fool will fall. The Lord is merciful and gracious,
Slow to anger, and abounding in mercy. But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you. My son, do not despise the chastening of the Lord,
Nor detest His correction;
For whom the Lord loves He corrects,
Just as a father the son in whom he delights. The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God. Make Your face shine upon Your servant;
Save me for Your mercies’ sake. You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you. Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone. To Him all the prophets witness that, through His name, whoever believes in Him will receive remission of sins.
